Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you keep over your own information.
Last updated: October 2026
This website is owned and operated by Kleindesign LLC, doing business as Tech Retailer USA, 904 4th Ave SW, Conrad, MT 59425, United States. In this policy, the words we, us and our refer to Kleindesign LLC.
We built this policy to be readable. If anything here is unclear, email contact@techretailerusa.com and we will explain it in plain language.
1. Information we collect
We only ask for information we actually need to sell you a product, deliver it and support it afterwards.
Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number and company name when you contact us or request a quote
- Billing address and shipping address when you place an order
- Account details such as your username and password if you create a shop account
- The content of messages you send through our forms or by email
- Purchase order details and tax exemption documents where these apply to your account
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
- Pages you viewed, how long you stayed and the site that referred you
- Cookie identifiers used to keep your cart and session working
What we never see
We do not store your full payment card number. Card details are entered directly into a payment processor that is certified to handle them, and only a confirmation of payment, the last digits of the card and the transaction reference come back to us.
2. How we use your information
- To process, pack, ship and invoice your order
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and provide support
- To handle returns, warranty claims and refunds
- To keep you updated on the status of an order
- To improve how our website works and to fix problems
- To send marketing emails, but only if you asked for them
- To detect fraud and protect the security of our systems
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations in the United States
3. Marketing and how to stop it
If you subscribe to our newsletter we will send occasional emails about products, price changes and stock. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email contact@techretailerusa.com and ask us to remove you.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notifications and replies to your own enquiries, since those are part of fulfilling your order.
4. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it for marketing purposes. We share it only where it is necessary to run the business:
- Shipping carriers receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your order
- Payment processors receive the details needed to take payment securely
- Distributors and suppliers receive delivery details where an order ships directly to you, and serial or order data where a warranty or return claim requires it
- Service providers such as our hosting provider, email service and analytics tools, all bound to protect the data they handle for us
- Legal authorities where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others
If our business is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction, and this policy would continue to apply until the new owner publishes its own.
5. Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for a few specific jobs:
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep items in your shopping cart. The site cannot function without these.
- Preference cookies remember choices such as your region or display settings.
- Analytics cookies tell us which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck, in aggregate form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block essential cookies, the shopping cart and account areas will stop working correctly.
6. Data security
Our website runs over an encrypted connection, which is what the padlock in your browser indicates. Access to customer records inside our business is limited to staff who need it to do their job. Payment data is handled by certified processors rather than stored on our systems.
No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we will never claim otherwise. What we can promise is that we take reasonable, current measures to protect your information, and that if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. How long we keep data
Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by United States tax and accounting rules. Enquiry and quote records are kept while they may still be useful to you and to us, then removed. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept while your account is open.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
- Opt out of marketing at any time
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, which is straightforward in our case because we do not sell it
Residents of California have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and residents of several other states have comparable rights under their own laws. To exercise any of these, email contact@techretailerusa.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.
9. Children
This website is intended for business buyers and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other websites
Our pages sometimes link to manufacturer websites, carrier tracking pages and other third party services. Once you leave our site, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so it is worth reading their policies before entering personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revision date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
