Cloud computing solutions

Email, files, backup and servers that work from anywhere, cost the same every month, and do not fall over when the office does.

Why this matters

The server in the cupboard has a retirement date

Plenty of businesses still run on a server sitting in a back office or a cupboard. It works, until the day it does not. Then the question becomes how old the backup is, who has the recovery password, and how long the business can operate without its files.

Moving to cloud services removes that single point of failure. Your email, files and applications live in professionally run facilities with redundant power, hardware and backups, and your staff reach them from the office, from home or from a customer site.

The part most providers skip is the migration itself. Done badly it eats a week of everyone's time and loses data. Done properly it happens over a weekend and Monday morning simply works. We plan for the second outcome.

What we deliver

Six cloud services, set up properly the first time

Hosted business email

Professional email on your own domain, with shared mailboxes, calendars, mobile access and the spam filtering that free services do not give you.

File storage and sharing

Shared drives with proper permissions, version history and secure external sharing, so files stop living on individual laptops.

Cloud backup

Automatic, encrypted, offsite backup of workstations, servers and cloud data, with retention set to match how far back you may need to go.

Hosted servers

Applications and databases running on cloud infrastructure instead of hardware you have to buy, power, cool and eventually replace.

Remote and hybrid access

Secure access to company systems from home, from the road or from a client site, without leaving anything exposed to the open internet.

Migration planning

Auditing what you have, sequencing the move, running it outside working hours and staying on hand for the first days afterwards.

How a migration runs

A weekend of work, not a month of disruption

Migrations fail for boring reasons. Mailboxes larger than anyone expected. A shared drive with twenty years of permissions nobody documented. An application that only runs against a local server. We look for these before the move, not during it.

  • Audit. What exists today, how much data, who uses what, what depends on what.
  • Plan. A sequence and a schedule, with the cutover placed outside working hours.
  • Pilot. A small group moves first so problems surface on five people, not fifty.
  • Cutover. The main move, with the old system kept available until the new one is proven.
  • Aftercare. We stay reachable through the first week, because that is when the questions arrive.

Predictable costs

A monthly figure you can budget for, instead of a large capital purchase every few years.

Better resilience

Redundant infrastructure and tested backups, rather than one box and a hopeful attitude.

Scales both ways

Add seats when you hire, remove them when you do not. No stranded hardware.

Your accounts

Subscriptions and tenancies are registered in your name, not ours. You are never locked in.

Common questions

Moving to the cloud, answered

The aim is no working hours lost. Cutovers are scheduled for evenings or weekends, and the old system stays available until the new one is confirmed working.

No, and usually it should not. Email often moves first, files second, applications last. A hybrid setup where some things stay on site is perfectly normal.

Sometimes, and sometimes not. It converts a large occasional purchase into a steady monthly cost, which suits most budgets better. We will show you both figures honestly rather than only the one that favours a sale.

You do. Tenancies and subscriptions are created in your company name with your billing details. If you ever move to another provider, nothing has to be untangled.

Cloud platforms provide strong infrastructure security, but configuration is where most incidents start. We set up access controls, multi factor authentication and backup properly. See our security services for more.

Still running a server you worry about?

Tell us what it does and how many people depend on it. We will map out what a move would involve, what it would cost, and whether it is worth doing yet.
